Preparation for Transition

For those that know me, but have not caught up to date with my career change, let me update you. As of December 18th, 2007 I have stepped down from my position as Creative Director at the Leadership Centre Willow Creek Canada. I have been doing graphic work with them for 10 years, 3 years by contract 7 years full time(4 days a week). About the middle of October I felt a need to pursue a longtime passion of mine...painting, which has lead to the decision of stepping down from TLCWCC.

I have been doing graphics for 22 years now. In 1985 I began with Select Homes Magazine, working with them for two years, then I  stepped out on my own and formed my own graphic design business, Studio Grey Graphics. Started in New Westminster, BC Canada, 4 years later I moved it to Kelowna, BC Canada where I worked for 7 years independently. In 1997 I started to do contract work with MacLean Group Marketing and simultaneously with TLCWCC. It was in 2000 that I joined TLCWCC full time for the duration of  7 years.

It has been a great journey, a lot of growth, a lot of learnings, I've met a lot of great people, but this next leg of the journey I find equally challenging if not my ultimate challenge. Again I ask that you join me and pray for me as I blog my experiences of being a fine artist.
